Pipelines

Delivering across Australia

At AGIG, we want to ensure the gas transmission pipelines and distribution networks we own and operate meet the needs of our customers in a sustainable way.

If you’re a prospective shipper, we hope you find the information in the table below helpful for future transportation requirements. And we invite you to make contact with an AGIG Commercial manager to discuss any specific needs:

AGIG publishes a Guide to pipeline disclosures under Part 10 of the National Gas Rules (NGR). The guide sets out the relevant rules, relevant AGIG pipelines, any exemptions from the disclosures, how disclosures are made and where they can be found. Much of the information is available in the table below.

Standing terms for transmission see Standard Shipper Contracts (Full Haul, Part Haul and Back Haul) which will form the basis of access negotiations

Standing terms for distribution see Annexures E and F (Specific Terms and Conditions and General Terms and Conditions) of the AGN Victoria and Albury 2023/24 – 2027/28 Access Arrangement, which will form the basis of access negotiations

Standing prices are available for AGN and MGN.

NGR 101E (1) (k) states the following:

(k) for services other than interconnection services, if a price provided under paragraph (j) is not expressed as $/GJ/day or, if relevant, $/GJ, that price converted into $/GJ/day or $/GJ, together with an explanation about how the conversion has been made

Any price published on our website that is not shown as $/GJ or $/GJ/day, is also $/GJ or $/GJ/day (using the conversion of dividing all expressed rates by 1GJ).

NGR 101B(4)(b) defines:

a large distribution pipeline means a distribution pipeline or part of a distribution pipeline that is a scheme pipeline and has a maximum daily capacity under normal operating conditions greater than or equal to 10 TJ/day and a maximum pressure capability under normal operating conditions greater than 4 MPa (see Part 10 of the National Gas Rules).
