Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) has today released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and strong ESG performance across the business.
The 2025 report reflects a year of continued progress for AGIG, highlighting ongoing investment in infrastructure essential to Australia’s sustainable energy future. The report outlines AGIG’s progress in emissions reduction, safety and wellbeing, community impact, gender equity and the advancement of renewable gas initiatives.
AGIG Chief Executive Officer, Craig de Laine, said he was proud of the company’s performance and the foundation it is building for the future.
“In 2025, we delivered our customer promises, which reflects a commitment to our over 2.1 million customers across Australia and to the support we provide to each other in the business. Collectively, our customer promises are – We are Here for You; We are Here for Each Other.”
Mr de Laine said the business remains focused on safety, operational excellence and supporting customers through the energy transition.
“Safety remains key to delivering our Vision and is strongly linked to our care value. In 2025, we delivered zero harm in Multinet Gas Networks for the period of August through to October – and the lowest injury rates more broadly in our corporate history. We also continued to advance our renewable hydrogen facilities while developing new projects to support Australia’s low carbon pathway.”
